Fighting Hunger with Flavor

When it comes to cooking up good food for a great cause, no one does it quite like chef Jon Ashton and his Van Gogh Vodka infused recipes. During last Thursday’s Greater Boston Food Bank Chef Challenge, Ashton “competed” in a friendly food fight with Bostonian chefs Jody Adams of Rialto and Marc Orfaly of Pigalle.

Chef Jon Ashton gives Chef Brooke Vosika, executive chef at the Four Seasons Boston, a sample of his Honey Pomegranate Sauce which features Van Gogh Pomegranate Vodka.

January 24 - Boston - Super Hunger Chef Challenge

While most of us think “cocktail” when we hear “vodka,” celebrity chef Jon Ashton imagines a delicious culinary delight in the making. Over the years, Ashton has created numerous cooking recipes featuring a variety of Van Gogh’s vodka flavors and this month, he will put his flair for food entertainment to the test during the Greater Boston Food Bank’s Super Hunger Chef Challenge, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.
